This page is for you folks who would like to find a case for your bowed psaltery. After
buying a bowed psaltery from Dave and Paulette Lucas, I decided to build my own
case. Since then I have built several others and will continue to do so for those who
would like to have a good solid case. I now build my cases out of cypress wood, though
other woods could be used. Cypress has a great wood grain and with a several coats
of clear polyurethane, it really stands out. I do my best to do good work and yet keep
the prices as low as possible. Small cases for the soprano psalteries run $200 and for
the tenor psalteries $230 plus shipping if the cases need to be shipped.

More about the boxes: I line the boxes with dark green humingbird velvet. I do all my
own work. It does take a while for me to do the cases as I am a preacher and my
church work takes priority. However, I should have the cases done within a month at
the latest.
